New Year

Ah, welcome to 2009, Happy New Year and all that.

Spent the day in the chill of the frost laden outdoors, absolutely great for the complexion you know!
A great walk round Holme Styes reservoir with a couple of rather steep and hairy descents thrown in, though I have to say the 2 1/2 year old with small stride and low centre of gravity easily coped the best with the challenge, even having time to kick the frosted leaves generously into the air.

Followed by a short stint in the garden including a small bonfire and energetic chasing of 3 egg laying ladies around said garden when the hour of roosting was upon us.

Thankfully I was aided in my cause by the late arrival of world war 3 fireworks which either someone had deja vu with or was just too inebriated to let off last evening.

No resolutions have passed my lips or made their way to paper, though I will admit to a certain number of goals for the year, including well, these will no doubt wend there way to blog later so lets leave them there for now.
